Last Updated: August 27, 2026 • Crossa (Pty) Ltd

Welcome to Crossa.africa. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Crossa (Pty) Ltd (Reg: 2025/689735/07) t/a Crossa South Africa and Crossa Eswatini (Pty) Ltd (“Crossa,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website, registering an account, or utilizing our logistics and procurement services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Scope & Logistics Workflow

Crossa provides an end-to-end cross-border logistics and concierge procurement platform:

  • Virtual South African Transit Address: Users receive a dedicated delivery address at our Johannesburg fulfillment facility for purchasing goods from South African online and retail stores.
  • Cross-Border Transit & Freight: Consolidation, transport, and customs clearance of parcels into the Kingdom of Eswatini.
  • Final-Mile Delivery & Collection: Pick-up at Crossa Hub collection lockers/counters or doorstep final-mile delivery across Eswatini.

2. User Declarations & Customs Accuracy

Customers are legally responsible for declaring the true, authentic contents, descriptions, and purchase value of all incoming goods:

  • You must provide an unaltered, official merchant purchase receipt or tax invoice for every registered package.
  • Under-declaration, false description, or concealing prohibited items is a criminal offense under customs law (SARS & ERS).
  • Crossa reserves the right to open, inspect, weigh, and verify packages for safety and customs compliance.

3. Prohibited & Restricted Commodities

Crossa strictly prohibits shipping the following items:

  • Hazardous materials, fireworks, flammable liquids, pressurized gases, and corrosive chemicals.
  • Firearms, ammunition, weapons, weapon components, and tactical military gear.
  • Narcotics, illegal drugs, and prescription pharmaceuticals without authorized health permits.
  • Counterfeit, fraudulent, or pirated merchandise.
  • Perishable fresh meats, agricultural seeds, or live plants without phytosanitary clearance.

4. Pricing, Freight Rates & Payment Terms

All service quotes are billed transparently with landed cost breakdowns in South African Rand (ZAR) or Eswatini Lilangeni (SZL):

  • Freight is calculated based on actual weight or volumetric dimensional weight (length × width × height / 5000), whichever is higher.
  • Customs VAT and import duties levied by Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS) are payable prior to parcel release.
  • Accepted payment channels include MTN MoMo Eswatini, Standard Bank EFT, and Visa/Mastercard via iKhokha gateway.

5. Limitation of Liability

Crossa is not liable for retailer shipping delays, merchant out-of-stock cancellations, or customs border delays resulting from incomplete customer declarations. For fragile or high-value items, optional transit insurance can be requested prior to dispatch.
