Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about shopping and shipping with Crossa
1. How does Crossa work?
When you sign up, you get a unique South African delivery suite address at our Johannesburg transit hub. When shopping online at Takealot, Shein, Zara, Amazon SA, or other stores, use this address as your delivery destination. Once your package arrives in Johannesburg, we log it, handle customs clearance, transport it to Eswatini, and notify you when it's ready for collection or doorstep delivery.
2. How long does delivery to Eswatini take?
Once your package is received at our Johannesburg transit hub, it typically arrives at our Mbabane or Manzini collection hubs within 3 to 5 business days, including customs border processing.
3. How are customs duties and taxes calculated?
Import duties and import VAT are assessed based on Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS) customs tariff regulations and your uploaded purchase invoice. Our app provides an automated estimated landed cost calculator before checkout so you always know what to expect.
4. Which payment methods are accepted?
We accept MTN MoMo Eswatini (instant USSD push), Standard Bank Eswatini EFT, and Visa / Mastercard debit and credit cards via the secure iKhokha gateway.
5. Can someone else pick up my package on my behalf?
Yes! From your Crossa App dashboard, tap on the package, select Authorize Pickup Agent, and enter their name and phone number. A secure pickup QR code will be generated for them to present at our collection counter.
